Patriotic craft: water bottle party favors

Are you handing out water at your party? Make it a lot more fun and festive by using washi tape to decorate them. It's so easy!Summertime celebrations are right around the corner! That usually means partying with a few red, white and blue decorations, right?

Want a fun way to dress up the drinks you serve on Memorial Day or Fourth of July? Jus wrap them with a little decorative tape! I was inspired by Kim’s decorated water bottles and decided to decorate my water bottles for the upcoming holidays. The mini water bottles are the perfect size for the width of washi tape.

Supplied needed:

  • Washi tape (in red, white and blue colors)
  • Scissors
  • Mini water bottles

Instructions:
Remove the store label from each bottle.

washi-tape-covered-water-bottle-craft-2Wrap each bottle with a strip of washi tape where the label used to be. Trim the tape neatly with the scissors and press it down.

That’s it! Now you have cute water bottles to go with your other patriotic decorations.
